Our Story

Our journey began 25 years ago in Bihar, at a time when interior design was barely recognized as a profession and often misunderstood as a luxury or myth. But our founder saw something different—he saw potential, purpose, and the power of design to transform lives. Against all odds, he followed this passion with unwavering determination, even when resources were limited and awareness was low.

What started as a one-person pursuit gradually evolved into a vision—of shaping a field that had no structure, no roadmap, and very little understanding. Through persistence, learning, and an unshakeable belief in the craft, he laid the foundation of what would later become a full-fledged institution in itself.

Founder

Sudhir Kumar

With nearly 30 years of experience across all facets of interior design, our Founder brings deep expertise and unmatched passion to the studio. His journey includes building a successful window coverings and furnishings venture, giving him a well-rounded understanding of materials and craftsmanship. Still personally involved in every project, his sharp eye and commitment to precision ensure that no detail is ever overlooked.

Designer (Concept & Technical)

Shivangi Verma

As a Gen-Z designer with an instinctive eye for form and function, I bring a modern, elevated approach to concept creation and technical detailing. I strive to merge fresh ideas with precise design logic, crafting solutions that are both innovative and impeccably structured. I enjoy exploring new materials, design technologies, and smart space-planning ideas that push each project forward.

Designer (Styling & Material)

Swati SIngh

As a young designer with a refined eye for style, I focus on creating balanced colour palettes, cohesive themes, and thoughtful material combinations. I aim to enhance every space with subtle elegance while staying true to the client’s vision and budget. With a background in hotel management, I’ve developed a deeper understanding of ambience, comfort, and the overall experience of a space—perspectives that guide and enrich my design approach.

Project Manager

Chandan SIngh

As a Project Manager, I bring a sharp eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a steady, grounded approach to every project. I thrive on turning well-crafted designs into flawless on-site realities, ensuring precision in every layer of execution. My strength lies in coordinating teams so that quality is never compromised. I navigate challenges smoothly and make sure each project reflects the standards and vision that define Shitej Interiors.
